Job Description: Our client is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join a well-established small animal practice in San Diego, California. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive and efficient clinical environment where the focus is on delivering high-quality care while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

You will be part of a close-knit team, working with experienced support staff and utilising modern equipment to provide a broad range of services. The caseload offers a balanced mix of preventative care and medical cases, allowing you to develop your clinical skills while building strong relationships with clients and their pets.

Job Responsibilities:
• Delivering thorough clinical examinations and developing appropriate treatment plans
• Managing a varied caseload including wellness care and general medical cases
• Performing routine surgical procedures and overseeing patient care
• Maintaining clear and accurate clinical records
• Building strong client relationships through effective communication

 Qualifications Needed:
• A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent qualification
• Eligibility to practise veterinary medicine in California
• Confidence in small animal medicine and routine procedures
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A team-focused and compassionate approach to patient care
