Job Description: Our client is seeking an experienced small animal veterinarian to join a well-established veterinary hospital serving Rossmore and surrounding Sydney suburbs. You will work with a diverse companion animal caseload delivering wellness care, diagnostics, surgery, dentistry, and urgent support in a busy clinical environment that prioritises excellence in patient care and clear communication with animal owners. 

This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a team of skilled clinicians using advanced diagnostic tools and compassionate treatment approaches. You will work in a hospital that combines general practice with emergency and walk-in services, supporting both routine and complex patient needs and enhancing the health of pets in the local community. 

In this position, your responsibilities will include:

  • Participating in comprehensive wellness exams and preventive care planning  
  • Performing routine soft tissue surgery and dental procedures with appropriate post-operative care  
  • Interpreting diagnostic imaging and laboratory data for clinical decision-making  
  • Communicating treatment plans and care instructions effectively with pet owners

Qualifications Needed:

  • Bachelor of Veterinary Science or equivalent recognised in Australia  
  • Eligibility for veterinary registration in New South Wales  
  • Proficiency in small animal medicine and surgery  
  • Strong communication skills and a client-centred approach
