Job Description: Our client is seeking a dedicated Small Animal Associate Veterinarian to join a supportive clinical team providing high-quality care across a varied companion animal caseload. Full-time, part-time, and relief arrangements may be considered, offering flexibility for both established veterinarians and clinicians seeking a more adaptable working pattern.

The successful candidate will benefit from the guidance of a highly experienced Medical Director while retaining the clinical independence needed to manage consultations, diagnostics, treatment planning, preventative care, and routine surgery. This opportunity would suit a collaborative veterinarian who values professional development, thoughtful client communication, and dependable teamwork.

In this position, your responsibilities will include:

  • Conduct consultations and perform thorough clinical examinations.
  • Develop appropriate diagnostic and treatment plans for small animal patients.
  • Carry out routine medical and surgical procedures to a high standard.
  • Communicate findings, recommendations, and follow-up care clearly with clients.
  • Work closely with veterinary and support colleagues to maintain efficient patient care.
  • Contribute to case discussions, knowledge sharing, and a positive clinical culture.

Qualifications Needed:

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree or an equivalent accredited qualification.
  • Current New York veterinary licence in good standing or eligibility to obtain one.
  • Commitment to ethical practice and consistently high standards of veterinary medicine.
  • Strong communication skills with an empathetic and professional approach.
  • Collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for continued clinical development.
