Job Description: Our client is seeking a Small Animal Associate Veterinarian to provide comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care within a well-established AAHA-accredited hospital environment. In this position, your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting routine wellness examinations and preventative care consultations
- Performing general surgical procedures including spay, neuter, and soft tissue surgery
- Providing dental procedures and treatment planning
- Interpreting diagnostic results to guide patient care
- Developing individualized treatment plans for patients
- Educating clients on ongoing health management and preventative care
- Maintaining accurate and compliant medical documentation
Qualifications Needed:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or VMD degree from an accredited institution
- Active veterinary license within the state of Florida (or ability to obtain)
- Confidence in general surgical and dental procedures
- Strong client communication skills
- Team-oriented and collaborative approach
Package:
- Base Salary: USD $120,000 – $150,000 per year
