Job Description: Our client is seeking a Small Animal Associate Veterinarian to provide comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care within a well-established AAHA-accredited hospital environment. This opportunity offers a four-day work week and the ability to practice progressive veterinary medicine using advanced diagnostic and treatment technologies.

The role supports a collaborative clinical approach, allowing you to work alongside a highly skilled support team while delivering preventative care, diagnostics, and surgical services. This position is ideal for a veterinarian with strong surgical interests who values excellent client communication and is looking for long-term growth through leadership and partnership opportunities.

In this position, your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting routine wellness examinations and preventative care consultations  
  • Performing general surgical procedures including spay, neuter, and soft tissue surgery  
  • Providing dental procedures and treatment planning  
  • Interpreting diagnostic results to guide patient care  
  • Developing individualized treatment plans for patients  
  • Educating clients on ongoing health management and preventative care  
  • Maintaining accurate and compliant medical documentation  

Qualifications Needed:

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or VMD degree from an accredited institution  
  • Active veterinary license within the state of Florida (or ability to obtain)  
  • Confidence in general surgical and dental procedures  
  • Strong client communication skills  
  • Team-oriented and collaborative approach  

Package:

  • Base Salary: USD $120,000 – $150,000 per year  
  • Monthly production bonus (No negative accrual)  
  • Sign-on bonus potential
