Small Animal Associate Veterinarian Job, Park Ridge, New Jersey, USA

Job Description: Our client is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to provide high-quality medical and surgical care within a progressive small animal setting. The position offers a varied general practice caseload, same-day appointments, advanced diagnostic imaging and access to a dual surgical suite designed to support efficient patient care.

The successful candidate will be confident working in both consultations and surgery while contributing positively to a close-knit clinical environment. Applications are welcomed from experienced veterinarians and recent graduates, with structured onsite mentorship available to support continued growth and clinical independence.

In this position, your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough examinations and developing appropriate treatment plans
  • Performing routine surgical and dental procedures with confidence
  • Using advanced imaging and diagnostic resources to support clinical decisions
  • Communicating clearly with pet owners throughout each stage of care
  • Maintaining accurate records and contributing to smooth daily operations

Qualifications Needed:

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree or an equivalent recognised qualification
  • Current veterinary licence in good standing within the USA
  • General practice experience preferred, although recent graduates are encouraged to apply
  • Ability to work independently while remaining receptive to guidance and feedback
  • Availability to participate in a shared rotating Saturday schedule
