Job Description: Our client is seeking an experienced Small Animal Associate Veterinarian to join a well-established companion animal practice committed to personalised and high-quality patient care. This opportunity is ideal for a clinician who values teamwork, strong client relationships, and practising medicine to a high clinical standard. The role offers the chance to manage a varied caseload while working in a supportive and collaborative setting.

You will take an active role in consultations, diagnostics, treatment planning, and surgical procedures, contributing to a positive and engaged clinic culture. The team encourages open communication, case collaboration, and ongoing professional development to ensure excellent outcomes for both patients and clients. Qualifications Needed:

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree  
  • Eligible for General Practice licensure in Newfoundland and Labrador  
  • Three to seven years of small animal clinical experience  
  • Competence in routine surgery and dentistry  
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a client-focused approach  

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive preventative and therapeutic care to companion animals  
  • Perform soft tissue surgical procedures and dental treatments  
  • Interpret laboratory results and diagnostic imaging effectively  
  • Guide clients through treatment options with clarity and empathy  
  • Contribute positively to a cooperative and respectful team environment
