Job Description: Our client is seeking a Small Animal Associate Veterinarian to join a long-established companion animal hospital committed to maintaining exceptional medical standards. This opportunity is ideal for a veterinarian who values structured protocols, thorough case management, and a collaborative clinical setting where patient comfort and comprehensive care remain top priorities.

You will practice within a hospital environment that emphasizes advanced diagnostics, modern dentistry, complex surgery, and urgent care services. The caseload provides a balance of preventive medicine and acute presentations, allowing you to apply your clinical judgment across a broad spectrum of small animal healthcare while building lasting client relationships.

In this position, your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering comprehensive examinations and evidence-based treatment plans  
  • Performing routine and advanced surgical procedures  
  • Managing urgent and emergency presentations as needed  
  • Utilizing diagnostic imaging and laboratory tools to guide case decisions  
  • Collaborating with support staff to maintain efficient and patient-centered workflows

Qualifications Needed:

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree  
  • Active Florida veterinary license in good standing  
  • Competence in general medicine and small animal surgery  
  • Strong communication skills and team-oriented approach
