Job Description: Our client is seeking an experienced Small Animal Veterinarian to join the founding team of a newly refurbished and purpose-built clinic opening in Queensland. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a fresh and collaborative environment from the very beginning, helping shape the culture, workflows, and future direction of a modern veterinary practice designed to support high-quality medicine and team wellbeing.

The role offers flexibility to suit a variety of working preferences, including full-time, part-time, or casual arrangements. You will work alongside a motivated veterinary and nursing team within a thoughtfully designed clinic equipped with modern technology and efficient workflows, allowing you to focus on delivering excellent patient care while contributing ideas and leadership as the clinic grows.

In this position, your responsibilities will include:  

  • Providing high-quality medical and surgical care to companion animals  
  • Collaborating closely with colleagues to build a positive clinic culture  
  • Supporting the development of efficient and patient-focused workflows  
  • Building strong relationships with clients and the local community  
  • Contributing ideas to help shape the future growth of the clinic  

Qualifications Needed:  

  • Veterinary degree with eligibility to practice in Queensland  
  • Several years of experience in companion animal practice  
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills  
  • Confidence in general medicine and surgical procedures  
  • Positive and proactive approach within a collaborative environment
