Job Description: Our client is seeking a Small Animal Associate Veterinarian to join a well-established companion animal hospital delivering comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced veterinarian who values practicing in a highly equipped facility with strong technician support and a collaborative team culture focused on mentorship and clinical excellence.

You will work within a spacious, modern hospital featuring multiple exam rooms, dual surgical suites, advanced in-house laboratory equipment, digital radiography, ultrasound, and full dental capabilities. A strong technician-to-doctor ratio allows you to focus on diagnostics, treatment planning, and surgery while maintaining high standards of patient care. This role offers both clinical challenge and professional growth within a supportive, team-oriented environment.

In this position, your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive examinations and medical workups  
  • Performing soft tissue surgery and advanced dentistry procedures  
  • Interpreting laboratory and imaging diagnostics to guide case management  
  • Communicating clearly with clients regarding treatment plans and preventive care  
  • Participating in hospital rounds and maintaining medical protocols

Qualifications Needed:

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or VMD) degree  
  • Active Florida veterinary license in good standing  
  • DEA registration or ability to obtain  
  • Minimum of one year of clinical experience  
  • Strong diagnostic, surgical, and client communication skills
