Job Description: Our client is seeking a skilled and compassionate small animal veterinarian for a permanent full-time role supporting comprehensive care for dogs and cats. This position is ideal for a clinician who values teamwork, high standards of patient care, and a broad case mix including preventive medicine, diagnostics, surgical procedures, and client education. 

The successful candidate will thrive in a supportive environment where clinical excellence and strong client relationships are central. You will join a well-established practice with modern diagnostic tools and collaborative support, contributing to a positive patient experience and continuous improvement of care delivery. 

In this position, your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough physical examinations and creating tailored treatment plans  
  • Performing routine surgeries and dental procedures with detailed aftercare  
  • Interpreting diagnostic imaging and laboratory results to inform clinical decisions  
  • Communicating clearly with pet owners about health strategies and preventive care  

Qualifications Needed:

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent  
  • Licensure or eligibility to practice veterinary medicine in Ontario  
  • Strong clinical judgment and interpersonal communication skills  
  • Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to compassionate care
