Job Description: Our client is seeking a permanent Small Animal Veterinarian to join an established companion animal practice delivering comprehensive medical, preventative, surgical, and diagnostic care. The role offers a varied caseload encompassing wellness medicine, internal and geriatric cases, dentistry, radiology, soft tissue and selected advanced surgical procedures, alongside in-hours urgent presentations.
The successful veterinarian will have opportunities to develop trusted long-term relationships with pet owners while working alongside experienced veterinary and support colleagues. Clinical services extend beyond traditional general practice to include therapeutic laser treatment, behaviour consultations, wellness diagnostics, acupuncture, chiropractic care, and basic medical care for rabbits, ferrets, and other pocket pets.
Qualifications Needed:
- DVM degree or equivalent veterinary qualification
- Eligibility for registration and veterinary practice in Ontario
- Confidence managing routine companion animal consultations, diagnostics, and clinical cases
- Strong client communication skills with a compassionate and professional approach
- Interest in continued clinical development across medicine, surgery, dentistry, or complementary services
