Job Description: Our client is seeking an experienced part-time Small Animal Associate Veterinarian to join a close-knit clinical team providing compassionate care across dogs, cats, pocket pets, and occasional exotic cases. The position offers a varied general practice caseload combining consultations, routine medicine, surgery, dentistry, diagnostic imaging, and preventive healthcare, supported by ultrasound, digital radiography, dental X-ray, and an in-house laboratory.
This opportunity is particularly suited to a veterinarian looking for genuine flexibility alongside continued clinical development. The role is available for two to three days per week, with working days negotiable, together with participation in a rotating Saturday morning roster. Veterinarians with an interest or additional experience in dentistry, diagnostic imaging, or surgery would be particularly well matched to the caseload.
Qualifications Needed:
- Veterinary degree recognised for registration to practise in Australia
- At least two years of experience across consultations and general practice surgery
- Confident communication skills with the ability to establish strong client relationships
- Organised and collaborative approach to working alongside veterinary and nursing colleagues
- Interest in developing clinical skills across dentistry, imaging, surgery, or other areas of general practice
