Job Description: Our client is seeking a Small Animal Associate Veterinarian to join an established multi-doctor practice where clinical collaboration and continuity of care are central to the working environment. The position offers a broad first-opinion caseload with access to digital radiology, ultrasound, cold laser therapy and on-site diagnostics, allowing cases to be investigated and managed efficiently.
A four-day working week helps create a more sustainable routine, with only rotating half-day Saturdays and no after-hours or on-call commitments. This role is open to both experienced veterinarians and newer graduates, with mentorship and career development support available at different stages of experience.
In this position, your responsibilities will include:
- Build trusted relationships with clients while guiding them through treatment options
- Contribute to medical and surgical case management across a varied GP caseload
- Share clinical knowledge and work closely with veterinary and technical colleagues
- Maintain clear, compassionate communication throughout each stage of patient care
Qualifications Needed:
- DVM degree with Illinois licensure in good standing, or eligibility to obtain
- Positive and adaptable approach to working within a collaborative clinical setting
- Confidence in general practice medicine, with interest in surgery or ultrasound welcomed
- New graduates and experienced veterinarians both encouraged to apply
