Job Description: Our client is seeking an experienced Small Animal Associate Veterinarian to join a busy companion animal hospital offering a broad caseload and strong scope for continued clinical development. The role would suit a confident GP vet with solid surgical and dental capability who enjoys managing varied cases and contributing to a collaborative working environment.
The successful candidate will ideally bring at least three years of experience and be comfortable making sound clinical decisions across consultations, procedures and treatment planning. There is also potential exposure to exotic cases, alongside access to modern diagnostic and treatment equipment and structured emergency protocols.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a varied companion animal caseload across consultations, diagnostics and treatment planning
- Perform routine surgical procedures and dentistry with confidence
- Build strong client relationships through clear communication and education
- Contribute to effective case management within a supportive clinical team
- Maintain composure and sound judgement across both routine and more urgent presentations
Qualifications Needed:
- DVM degree or equivalent veterinary qualification
- Approximately three or more years of clinical experience preferred
- Strong surgical and dental skills
- Confident communication and client relationship-building ability
- Adaptable, collaborative approach with a commitment to high-quality patient care
