Job Description: Our client is seeking an experienced Small Animal Associate Veterinarian to join their compassionate and collaborative team in Mississauga. This role offers the opportunity to work in a modern, fully equipped practice focused on delivering high-quality, fear-free veterinary care while supporting both the physical and emotional wellbeing of patients.

This position is ideal for a veterinarian who is confident in surgery and dentistry and enjoys working in a supportive, team-oriented environment. You will be paired with dedicated support staff and have access to advanced equipment, allowing you to focus on delivering excellent patient care and building strong client relationships.

In this position, your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing consultations and preventative care for companion animals  
  • Managing medical cases and developing treatment plans  
  • Performing soft tissue surgery and dental procedures  
  • Utilizing diagnostic tools including digital radiography and in-house lab equipment  
  • Collaborating closely with veterinary nurses and support staff  
  • Delivering compassionate care and building strong client relationships  

Qualifications Needed:

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent  
  • Valid provincial veterinary license in Ontario (or eligibility)  
  • Experience in small animal practice with surgical and dental proficiency  
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills  
  • Commitment to high standards of patient care and teamwork
