Job Description: Our client is seeking a Small Animal Associate Veterinarian to join a full-service clinical setting where preventative care, diagnostic medicine, surgery, and urgent presentations form part of the everyday caseload. The position would suit a veterinarian who values continuity of care and enjoys guiding pet owners through each stage of their animal’s healthcare, from routine wellness planning to more complex medical and surgical treatment.
There is plenty of scope to exercise independent clinical judgement while continuing to strengthen diagnostic and procedural skills. The successful veterinarian will work alongside experienced support colleagues, with ongoing education and mentorship available for those wishing to deepen particular clinical interests or gradually take on additional professional responsibilities.
Qualifications Needed:
- DVM or equivalent veterinary degree from an accredited institution
- Current Texas veterinary license or eligibility to obtain state licensure
- Sound clinical judgement across preventative, diagnostic, surgical, and urgent care cases
- Strong client communication skills with the ability to explain treatment plans clearly
- Commitment to continued learning and consistently high standards of patient care
Package:
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance options
- 401(k) retirement plan with employer contribution
- Professional liability protection provided
- Short-term and long-term disability coverage
- Maternity leave alongside additional healthcare support provisions
- Structured mentorship for continued clinical growth
- Opportunities to pursue individual veterinary interests and broaden professional responsibilities
- Access to additional clinical expertise when managing more challenging cases
- Production-based monthly bonus opportunity with no negative accrual
- Annual continuing education funding with dedicated paid professional development days
