Job Description: Our client is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join a well-established small animal practice located in Mason, Ohio. This full-time opportunity is based within a hospital that has served the Greater Cincinnati community for more than four decades and is known for delivering compassionate veterinary care in a supportive and collaborative environment.
The clinic provides a broad range of veterinary services including preventative medicine, diagnostics, dentistry and surgery. Equipped with modern technology and supported by an experienced team, the successful candidate will manage a varied caseload while building strong relationships with clients and contributing to the hospital’s patient-focused culture.
In this position, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing medical consultations and treatment for companion animals
- Performing routine surgical procedures and dental treatments
- Utilising diagnostic tools to assess and manage patient health conditions
- Developing treatment plans and monitoring patient progress
- Communicating clearly with pet owners regarding care recommendations
- Working collaboratively with veterinary technicians and support staff
Qualifications Needed:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or equivalent) from an accredited institution
- Eligibility for veterinary licensure within the state of Ohio
- Clinical experience in small animal general practice preferred
- Interest in performing surgical and dental procedures
- Strong communication skills and ability to work within a team-focused environment
