Job Description: Our client is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join a growing small animal and exotic practice offering both full-time and part-time opportunities. The role provides exposure to dogs, cats, birds and reptiles, with access to advanced clinical resources including digital radiography, ultrasound, CO2 surgical laser, acupuncture and therapeutic laser.
This position would suit a veterinarian who enjoys varied casework, modern medicine and the opportunity to continue expanding clinical interests. The successful candidate will work within a supportive environment that encourages professional development while offering scope to build experience across general practice, surgery, diagnostics and integrative treatment options.
In this position, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing medical and preventative care across companion animal and exotic patient caseloads
- Using advanced diagnostic and treatment resources to support clinical decision-making
- Performing appropriate surgical and medical procedures within your experience level
- Building strong client relationships through clear communication and education
- Contributing to a collaborative and positive clinical environment
Qualifications Needed:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree
- Kentucky veterinary license in good standing or eligibility to obtain one
- Strong commitment to high-quality patient and client care
- Collaborative approach with an interest in continued professional development
- Comfort working across a varied general practice caseload
