Job Description: Our client is seeking a full-time Small Animal Associate Veterinarian to join an established four-doctor hospital serving the Lakewood community. This position offers a varied clinical workload, access to experienced colleagues, and the opportunity to practise thoughtful, high-quality medicine in a well-supported environment.

The incoming veterinarian will take responsibility for routine and more advanced companion animal cases, including wellness care, diagnostics, surgery, dentistry, and urgent presentations. Support is available from an experienced clinical team as well as a partnered veterinary radiology specialist, helping the successful candidate work through complex diagnostic cases with greater confidence.

Qualifications Needed:

  • Strong interpersonal skills and a professional, approachable manner.
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree or an equivalent recognised qualification.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with veterinarians and support colleagues.
  • Current Colorado veterinary licence in good standing or eligibility to obtain one.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of small animal medicine.
  • Confidence communicating medical information clearly to clients.
  • Positive attitude toward ongoing learning and professional development.
  • Sound clinical judgement across general practice cases.
