Job Description: Our client is seeking a compassionate Associate Veterinarian to provide high-quality medical care for dogs and cats within a well-equipped small animal setting. The position offers access to modern diagnostic, dental and surgical resources, enabling the successful veterinarian to manage a varied caseload confidently.

This opportunity is suitable for an experienced veterinarian or a recent graduate seeking structured mentorship and continued clinical development. The successful candidate will communicate clearly with pet owners, collaborate effectively with colleagues and maintain excellent standards of patient care.

In this position, your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering preventive, diagnostic and medical care for canine and feline patients
  • Performing routine surgical and dental procedures within individual experience levels
  • Preparing appropriate treatment plans and explaining care options clearly to clients
  • Maintaining accurate medical records and arranging suitable patient follow-up
  • Contributing to a supportive and cooperative clinical environment

Qualifications Needed:

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree or an equivalent recognised qualification
  • Current California veterinary licence in good standing or eligibility to obtain one
  • Commitment to ethical practice and consistently high clinical standards
  • Compassionate communication skills and the ability to build client trust
  • Interest in continued learning and professional development
