Job Description: Our client is seeking a Small Animal Associate Veterinarian to join a modern companion animal hospital in Lacey. Full-time and part-time schedules are available, offering flexibility for a veterinarian who wants to practise high-quality medicine while maintaining a healthy balance outside of work.
The hospital provides care for canine and feline patients and is equipped with in-house laboratory capabilities, dental radiography, and ultrasound. Fear-Free principles and hands-free radiology standards are incorporated into daily practice, supporting a safer and more comfortable experience for patients, clients, and the clinical team.
This role would suit a compassionate veterinarian who enjoys working collaboratively, communicating clearly with pet owners, and managing a varied general practice caseload. The surrounding area also offers easy access to Puget Sound, the Cascade Mountains, parks, and year-round outdoor recreation.
Qualifications Needed:
- Current Washington veterinary licence in good standing or eligibility to obtain one.
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree or an equivalent recognised qualification.
- Strong commitment to ethical and high-quality companion animal medicine.
- Ability to communicate confidently and empathetically with clients.
- Collaborative approach to working with clinical and support colleagues.
- Sound judgement when assessing and managing general practice cases.
