Job Description: Our client is seeking a Small Animal Associate Veterinarian to join a full-service companion animal hospital in Kittrell, North Carolina. In this position, your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out comprehensive patient exams, medical work-ups, diagnostics, and treatment planning
- Performing surgery, dentistry, urgent care, and routine small animal procedures
- Communicating clearly with clients to explain findings, recommendations, and care plans
- Maintaining accurate medical records and following prescribing and controlled substance protocols
- Working with hospital leadership and support staff to promote smooth workflow and high patient care standards
Qualifications Needed:
- DVM or VMD degree from an accredited college or university
- Current North Carolina veterinary license
- DEA registration obtained and maintained
- Minimum one year of experience in veterinary practice
- Strong diagnostic, surgical, dental, interpersonal, and communication skills
