Job Description: Our client is seeking a committed Small Animal Veterinarian to join a thriving full-time clinical role at a busy practice on the Sunshine Coast. This position is tailored for a clinician who enjoys managing a broad spectrum of small animal cases and appreciates the autonomy that comes with being part of a compact, energetic team. You will play a key role in shaping the daily clinical workflow while delivering excellent veterinary care in a welcoming environment. 

The clinic features well-appointed consult rooms, a sterile surgical theatre, comprehensive X-ray and dental imaging, plus in-house pathology capabilities. Currently operated by a small team supported by an experienced Senior Nurse and a Business Manager, the practice handles daily surgeries, dental work and general medical care — offering strong opportunities for professional growth and involvement in service development as the clinic continues to evolve.

In this position, your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering thorough small animal medical consultations and treatments  
  • Performing routine and advanced surgeries aligned with your skill set  
  • Developing and communicating treatment and wellness plans with clients  
  • Collaborating with support staff for seamless patient care  
  • Contributing to a positive and collaborative clinic culture  

Qualifications Needed:

  • Veterinary qualification eligible for registration in Queensland  
  • Experience in small animal practice with confident case management  
  • Strong communication skills with both clients and colleagues  
  • Ability to work collaboratively and take initiative in clinical settings  
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development
