Job Description: Our client is seeking a Small Animal Associate Veterinarian to join a large, multidisciplinary hospital where general practice veterinarians have access to an unusually broad range of clinical resources. The role combines everyday companion animal medicine with the ability to hospitalise patients and collaborate on cases requiring surgery, oncology, internal medicine, diagnostic imaging or behavioural expertise.
The hospital offers extensive diagnostic and treatment capabilities, including ultrasound, digital radiography, CT, endoscopy, therapeutic laser and an in-house laboratory. A substantial team of licensed technicians and veterinary assistants supports the doctors, allowing cases to be managed efficiently while providing opportunities for collaboration and continued clinical development.
Although patient care is provided around the clock, general practice veterinarians are not required to undertake overnight doctor shifts.
