Job Description: Our client is seeking a Small Animal Associate Veterinarian to join a well-established clinic providing comprehensive companion animal care throughout Invercargill. The role offers a varied caseload supported by experienced veterinarians, senior veterinary nurses, customer service colleagues, and dedicated clinical facilities.
This position would suit a veterinarian who enjoys general practice while having access to advanced referral services and knowledgeable colleagues. The clinic also provides 24-hour small animal emergency support and operates a purpose-built treatment centre for feline hyperthyroidism.
Qualifications Needed:
- Veterinary degree eligible for registration in New Zealand
- Confidence managing a varied companion animal caseload
- Professional and compassionate approach to client communication
- Ability to work effectively alongside veterinarians and veterinary nurses
- Interest in continued clinical learning and development
