Job Description: Our client is seeking a full-time or part-time Associate Veterinarian to join a busy and collaborative practice treating both small animals and exotic pets. This opportunity is particularly well suited to a veterinarian who would like to strengthen their skills in areas such as surgery, diagnostic ultrasound, dentistry, or exotic animal medicine while managing a varied clinical caseload.

The position combines wellness appointments, diagnostic investigations, medical case management, surgery, and dentistry, with 30-minute consultation times supporting thoughtful patient care and client communication. New graduates are encouraged to apply, with structured mentorship available, while more experienced clinicians will have opportunities to develop their individual clinical interests within a supportive working environment.

Qualifications Needed:

  • DVM or VMD degree with eligibility for veterinary licensure in Texas
  • Interest or previous exposure to exotic animal medicine
  • Motivated approach to continued clinical learning and development
  • Confident communication skills with a collaborative attitude toward patient care
  • New graduates and experienced veterinarians are both welcome to apply

Package:

  • Flexible full-time or part-time working arrangements
  • Structured clinical mentorship available for veterinarians early in their careers
  • Production-based earning potential in addition to base compensation
  • Generous paid time off supporting a sustainable work-life balance
  • Thirty-minute consultations allowing additional time for patient assessment
  • Opportunity to develop expertise in surgery, ultrasound, dentistry, or exotic medicine
  • Experienced veterinary colleagues available for case collaboration and support
  • Skilled clinical support staff assisting with day-to-day patient care
  • Varied caseload spanning preventative medicine, diagnostics, procedures, and exotic patients
