Job Description: Our client is seeking a Small Animal Associate Veterinarian to join a friendly and well-established multi-doctor practice in Highland Park. The hospital has served the local community and surrounding North Shore suburbs for more than 30 years and is supported by a loyal client base, experienced staff, and a collaborative clinical culture.
The practice provides personalised care for dogs and cats across preventative medicine, surgery, dentistry, diagnostics, chronic disease management, and end-of-life support. Both experienced veterinarians and recent graduates are welcome to apply, with dedicated mentorship available for those early in their careers.
Qualifications Needed:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree or an equivalent recognised qualification.
- Current Illinois veterinary licence in good standing or eligibility to obtain one.
- Commitment to practising high-quality, ethical, and compassionate veterinary medicine.
- Confidence managing routine small animal medical and surgical cases.
- Strong communication and client relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a collaborative multi-doctor team.
- Interest in surgery would be advantageous.
- New graduates and experienced veterinarians are encouraged to apply.
- Willingness to work approximately three Saturdays per month, subject to discussion.
- Interest in ongoing professional education and clinical development.
