Job Description: Our client is seeking a skilled small animal veterinarian to join a welcoming team providing modern, professional veterinary care for companion animals. This role offers the opportunity to deliver a wide spectrum of clinical services for cats, dogs and other small pets, from wellness planning and routine procedures to more acute care. You will be supported with in-clinic diagnostics and tools that help shape confident, timely clinical decisions and strengthen the long-term health of patients.
In this position, your responsibilities will include:
- Performing comprehensive wellness exams and preventive health consultations
- Conducting routine dental and soft tissue surgical procedures with thorough follow-up
- Interpreting diagnostic imaging and clinical pathology results to guide treatment
- Responding effectively to urgent care needs with calm clinical judgement
Qualifications Needed:
- Veterinary degree recognised in Australia (e.g., Bachelor of Veterinary Science)
- Eligibility for veterinary registration in Queensland
- Proficiency in general small animal medicine and surgery
- Strong communication skills and a client-focused approach
