Job Description: Our client is seeking a Small Animal Associate Veterinarian to join a thriving companion animal clinic in Gladwin, Michigan. The role offers a varied small animal caseload across wellness care, diagnostics, dentistry, surgery, and client education. With a full in-house lab, digital X-ray, dental radiographs, ultrasound, surgical monitoring, EMR, and fully utilised LVTs supporting surgery, recovery, and client liaison work, this position provides an excellent environment for a vet looking to grow within a positive and team-driven hospital.
In this position, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing comprehensive small animal care across wellness, diagnostics, dentistry, and surgery
- Building trusted client relationships through clear communication and education
- Collaborating with LVTs and support staff to maintain smooth patient care
- Contributing to workflow improvements and high medical standards
- Supporting a positive, proactive, and team-focused clinic culture
Qualifications Needed:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree or equivalent
- Current or eligible veterinary licensure in Michigan
- Strong surgical skills
- Full-time availability for a minimum of 32 hours per week
- Team-oriented approach with a proactive and growth-focused mindset
Package:
- Base salary up to $150,000 plus production for veterinarians with two or more years of experience
- Signing and retention bonus up to $60,000 available
- Monday to Friday schedule only
- No weekends and no after-hours work
