The position is structured across approximately 2–2.5 days per week, including two Saturday shifts each month, and would suit either an experienced veterinarian or a recent graduate looking for hands-on mentorship.

The successful candidate will have access to advanced clinical resources including ultrasound, digital dental radiography, laser therapy, stem cell therapy and comprehensive in-house diagnostics. With a high technician-to-doctor ratio and a strong emphasis on professional development, the role provides an excellent opportunity to build confidence, expand clinical skills and focus on delivering high-quality patient care.

In this position, your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a varied small animal caseload across preventative, medical and diagnostic care
  • Using in-house diagnostic and imaging resources to support clinical decision-making
  • Working closely with technicians to provide efficient and compassionate patient care
  • Building trusted client relationships through clear communication and education
  • Participating in scheduled Saturday coverage as part of the part-time rota

Qualifications Needed:

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree or equivalent
  • Licensed or eligible for veterinary licensure in Tennessee
  • Strong commitment to high-quality companion animal medicine
  • Collaborative approach to working with veterinary and technical colleagues
  • Recent graduates and experienced veterinarians are both welcome to apply

Package:

  • Part-time schedule of approximately 2–2.5 days per week
  • Two Saturday shifts required each month
  • 401(k) plan with employer matching after eligibility requirements are met
  • Continuing education support for ongoing clinical development
  • VIN membership included
  • Professional liability insurance provided
  • State veterinary license, DEA fees and professional dues reimbursed
  • Employee discounts on veterinary care services
  • Access to ultrasound, digital dental radiography and advanced in-house diagnostics
  • Structured mentorship available for recent graduates and developing clinicians
