Job Description: Our client is seeking a Small Animal Associate Veterinarian to join a recently updated first-opinion practice with a strong surgical focus and scope to develop more advanced procedural interests. The role combines preventative medicine, diagnostics and surgery, with access to ultrasound, in-house laboratory testing and orthopaedic capability.
A key feature of this opportunity is flexibility. The successful veterinarian can help shape their own schedule, with 30-minute appointments and dedicated surgery days helping create a more structured clinical rhythm. Interest in orthopaedics would be particularly welcomed, although it is not essential, and newer graduates will be considered with mentorship available.
In this position, your responsibilities will include:
- Develop trusted client relationships through clear education and follow-up care
- Manage routine consultations alongside diagnostic case workups
- Perform a broad range of surgical procedures within a well-equipped setting
