Job Description: Our client is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to care for canine and feline patients within a long-established small animal setting. The successful candidate will work alongside an experienced support team and have access to digital imaging, ultrasound, an in-house diagnostic system and a fully equipped surgical suite. This full-time position follows a four-day weekday schedule, offering a consistent routine with weekends free.
Qualifications Needed:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree or an equivalent recognised qualification
- California veterinary licence in good standing or eligibility to obtain one
- Commitment to ethical medicine and dependable clinical standards
- Confident communication with clients and fellow team members
- Collaborative approach to case management and continued learning
In this position, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing wellness consultations, diagnostics and treatment plans for dogs and cats
- Carrying out routine medical, surgical and preventive care
- Explaining clinical findings and available treatment options clearly to pet owners
- Using diagnostic equipment effectively to support timely medical decisions
- Maintaining accurate patient records and appropriate follow-up arrangements
Package:
