Job Description: Our client is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to deliver comprehensive small animal medicine across a varied caseload encompassing preventive healthcare, diagnostics, surgical procedures, advanced medical cases, and urgent presentations. The position offers the opportunity to work alongside multiple experienced veterinarians and skilled support professionals, with an emphasis on clinical collaboration, confident decision-making, patient advocacy, and maintaining strong relationships with pet owners throughout every stage of care.

Qualifications Needed:

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree or equivalent recognised veterinary qualification
  • Valid Florida veterinary licence or eligibility to meet state licensing requirements
  • Clear and compassionate communication skills when discussing diagnoses and treatment options
  • Professional approach centred on consistently high standards of patient care
  • Ability to contribute effectively within a multi-veterinarian clinical environment

In this position, your responsibilities will include:

  • Directing diagnostic investigations and establishing appropriate treatment plans for individual patients
  • Performing routine and more involved small animal medical and surgical procedures
  • Supporting preventive healthcare while managing urgent and advanced clinical presentations
  • Communicating treatment recommendations clearly so clients can make informed healthcare decisions
  • Contributing clinical knowledge and perspective when working alongside veterinary and support colleagues
