Job Description: Our client is seeking a Small Animal Associate Veterinarian to join a collaborative companion animal setting providing comprehensive care for dogs and cats. The caseload spans routine wellness and preventive medicine through to more involved medical presentations, with access to modern diagnostic technology including digital radiography and ultrasound. The environment supports fear-conscious handling and hands-free radiology techniques while encouraging thoughtful case discussion and consistently high standards of patient care.
This opportunity can be structured on either a full-time or part-time basis, with eight- or ten-hour shifts available. The current schedule runs Monday through Saturday with rotating weekend commitments, offering flexibility around working patterns. The role would suit a veterinarian who enjoys building strong client relationships, working closely with colleagues, and continuing to develop across a varied general practice caseload.
Qualifications Needed:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from an accredited university or equivalent veterinary qualification
- Texas veterinary licensure in good standing or eligibility to obtain the required licence
- Commitment to ethical, compassionate, and high-quality small animal medicine
- Strong communication skills with a collaborative approach to clinical care
