In this position, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing high-quality small animal consultations, wellness care, diagnostics, and treatment planning
- Managing preventative health cases, vaccinations, parasite control, nutrition discussions, and routine check-ups
- Supporting surgical, dental, imaging, reproduction, and medical cases according to clinical confidence and experience
- Communicating clearly with clients to ensure they feel informed, supported, and reassured throughout their pet’s care
- Working collaboratively with the wider team to maintain smooth workflow and a calm, positive clinic experience
Qualifications Needed:
- Veterinary degree with eligibility for registration in New Zealand
- Confidence handling a varied small animal caseload
- Strong communication skills with clients, colleagues, and support staff
- Compassionate approach to patient care with attention to low-stress handling
- Interest in continued learning across medicine, surgery, dentistry, imaging, or reproduction
