Job Description: Our client is seeking a Small Animal Associate Veterinarian to join a well-equipped companion animal practice on either a full-time or part-time basis. The hospital offers a varied general practice caseload with access to ultrasound, digital radiography, an in-house laboratory, visiting specialists and a fully equipped surgical suite, giving the successful candidate plenty of opportunity to continue building both medical and surgical capability.
This role would suit a veterinarian with around one to two years of experience who is comfortable managing consultations independently and making confident day-to-day clinical decisions. Support remains available from experienced colleagues, including assistance from veterinarians at a nearby branch when required. The wider team includes experienced veterinary nurses as well as developing nursing staff, creating a collaborative environment with strong day-to-day clinical support.
Responsibilities:
- Manage consultations, diagnostics and treatment plans across a varied small animal caseload
- Provide routine medical and surgical care to a consistently high standard
- Build trusted relationships with clients through clear communication and education
- Work collaboratively with veterinary and nursing colleagues across the practice
- Maintain organised clinical records and effective case follow-up
Package:
- Full-time or part-time working arrangements available
