Job Description: Our client is seeking a Small Animal Associate Veterinarian to join a well-equipped companion animal setting providing comprehensive care for dogs and cats. The role covers everything from preventive healthcare and routine wellness visits through to more complex medical presentations, with access to digital radiography, ultrasound, and modern diagnostic resources. Fear-conscious handling and hands-free radiology techniques are encouraged as part of the clinical approach.
The position can be offered on a full-time basis, with part-time arrangements also considered. Veterinarians may choose between eight- or ten-hour shifts, with rotating weekend cover required when needed. Experienced clinicians are welcome, while students and new graduates may also be considered with structured mentorship available to support continued clinical development.
Qualifications Needed:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from an accredited university or equivalent veterinary qualification
- Texas veterinary licensure in good standing or eligibility to obtain the required licence
- Commitment to high standards of ethical and compassionate veterinary medicine
- Strong communication skills with a collaborative approach to patient care
- Interest in continued professional growth across a varied small animal caseload
