Job Description: Our client is seeking a Small Animal Associate Veterinarian to join a well-established general practice offering a varied caseload and strong clinical support. This full-time position is ideal for a veterinarian who enjoys delivering comprehensive small animal care across preventive medicine, diagnostics, surgery and ongoing case management while building lasting client relationships.
The successful candidate will work in a well-equipped environment featuring digital radiography, ultrasound, an in-house laboratory and a full surgical suite. The role offers the opportunity to collaborate with experienced veterinary and support staff while maintaining a high level of clinical autonomy and contributing to consistently strong patient care.
In this position, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing comprehensive examinations, diagnostics and treatment plans across a broad small animal caseload
- Performing surgery and diagnostic procedures with a focus on high clinical standards
- Communicating clearly with clients about findings, treatment options and preventive care
- Maintaining accurate medical records and appropriate prescribing practices
- Working closely with veterinary colleagues and support staff to ensure efficient patient care
Qualifications Needed:
- DVM or VMD degree from an accredited veterinary institution
- Current Washington veterinary licence with ability to obtain and maintain DEA registration
- At least one year of veterinary practice experience
- Strong diagnostic, surgical and client communication skills
