Job Description: Our client is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join a well-established small animal hospital delivering comprehensive care across preventative medicine, diagnostics, surgery and same-day appointments. The role provides the opportunity to manage cases throughout the full clinical journey, from initial assessment and diagnostic investigation through to treatment and ongoing care. Exposure to urgent and emergency presentations adds further variety for a veterinarian looking to strengthen a broad range of general practice skills.
The successful candidate will have autonomy over clinical decision-making while working alongside an experienced veterinary support team. Clear client communication is an important part of the position, with the veterinarian responsible for explaining findings, discussing treatment options and helping owners make informed decisions regarding their pets’ care.
Qualifications Needed:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree or equivalent veterinary qualification
- Valid state veterinary license in good standing
- Commitment to delivering high standards of small animal medicine
- Excellent communication skills and confidence discussing treatment plans with clients
- Collaborative approach with an interest in continued clinical development
