Job Description: Our client is seeking a compassionate Small Animal Associate Veterinarian to join a well-established companion animal hospital offering a broad mix of preventative care, diagnostics, dentistry, surgery, internal medicine, boarding, and laser therapy. This role would suit a veterinarian who enjoys building lasting client relationships while delivering thoughtful, high-quality care across a varied small animal caseload.

The position offers the chance to work alongside experienced veterinarians, technicians, and support staff in a collaborative clinical setting. In this position, your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing comprehensive patient exams, work-ups, and treatment planning
  • Carrying out diagnostic procedures, surgery, dentistry, and medical case management
  • Communicating clearly with clients and providing practical pet care education
  • Maintaining accurate medical records and following pharmacy protocols
  • Supporting teamwork, daily case flow, and consistent hospital standards

Qualifications Needed:

  • DVM or VMD degree from an accredited college or university is required
  • Current state veterinary license is essential
  • DEA registration must be obtained and maintained
  • At least one year of veterinary practice experience preferred
  • Strong diagnostic, surgical, dental, and communication skills
