Job Description: Our client is seeking a Small Animal Associate Veterinarian to join a flexible float role supporting multiple clinics across the Chicago area. This position is ideal for a veterinarian who enjoys variety, adaptability, and working across different teams while delivering consistent, high-quality patient care.

The role is available on either a full-time or part-time basis, with scheduling designed around clinic needs and individual availability. Working as a float veterinarian offers exposure to a diverse caseload, collaborative clinical environments, and the opportunity to build broad clinical experience while maintaining autonomy in medical decision-making.

This position supports veterinarians at varying career stages and provides strong clinical resources, team-based support, and the flexibility needed to create a sustainable and engaging long-term role.

Qualifications Needed:

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree or equivalent qualification
  • Active state veterinary license or eligibility to obtain licensure
  • Comfort working across multiple clinic locations
  • Strong adaptability and confident clinical decision-making
  • Collaborative approach with clear communication skills
