Small Animal Associate Veterinarian Job, Burlington, Ontario, Canada

Job Description: Our client is seeking an experienced small animal veterinarian to support a modern, team-centric clinic focused on accessible, high-quality veterinary care. You will help expand comprehensive medical services for pets including wellness, diagnostics, minor surgery, and preventive care, all delivered through a thoughtful approach that prioritizes strong client relationships and consistent outcomes. 

This position allows a veterinarian with a passion for progressive and compassionate practice to contribute meaningfully to a member-driven veterinary model and collaborate closely with skilled support staff. You’ll play an invaluable role in maintaining transparent care experiences and building long-term pet health journeys in a welcoming environment. 

In this position, your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing small animal wellness exams and developing tailored treatment plans
  • Performing routine medical procedures and minor surgical interventions
  • Working with in-house diagnostics to support efficient care delivery
  • Engaging with clients to explain preventive health and follow-up recommendations

Qualifications Needed:

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent
  • Licensure or eligibility to practice in Ontario
  • Demonstrated experience treating small animal cases
  • Excellent communication and client education skills
