Job Description: Our client is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join a friendly and collaborative small animal setting offering a broad range of general practice and urgent-care cases. The position provides the opportunity to manage preventative healthcare, medical investigations, surgery, dentistry, orthopedic presentations and emergency cases while building strong relationships with pet owners.

This role would suit a veterinarian who values compassionate patient care, clear client communication and continued clinical growth. The successful candidate will have access to in-house laboratory capabilities and a varied caseload, with freedom to develop interests across areas such as preventative medicine, surgery, dentistry, diagnostics and emergency care.

In this position, your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering preventative, medical and surgical care across a varied small animal caseload
  • Managing urgent and emergency presentations alongside routine appointments
  • Performing dental procedures and supporting a range of surgical cases
  • Using available diagnostic resources to investigate and manage medical conditions
  • Educating clients on nutrition, preventative healthcare and long-term pet wellbeing

Qualifications Needed:

  • Veterinary degree with eligibility for licensure in Manitoba
  • Commitment to delivering compassionate and high-quality patient care
  • Strong interpersonal and client communication abilities
  • Collaborative approach to working with veterinary and support colleagues
  • Interest in continued learning and expanding clinical capabilities
