Job Description: Our client is seeking a Small Animal Associate Veterinarian to join a recently renovated companion animal hospital in Berwyn. Both full-time and part-time arrangements are available, with flexible scheduling designed to support a sustainable work-life balance.
The hospital offers a modern clinical environment with nine examination rooms, a dedicated dental suite, two spacious surgical suites, and an updated treatment area. The caseload ranges from routine wellness appointments to urgent care presentations, allowing the successful veterinarian to maintain a broad and varied general practice skill set.
In this position, your responsibilities will include:
- Provide comprehensive medical care for canine and feline patients.
- Perform wellness examinations, vaccinations, and preventative healthcare services.
- Assess and treat sick and urgent care presentations.
- Develop suitable diagnostic and treatment plans for each patient.
- Carry out routine soft-tissue surgery and dental procedures.
- Use the hospital’s examination, treatment, dental, and surgical facilities effectively.
- Interpret laboratory and diagnostic findings to guide case management.
- Communicate treatment recommendations and follow-up instructions clearly to clients.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records.
- Work collaboratively with experienced veterinarians, technicians, and support staff.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans when necessary.
- Contribute to the hospital’s community outreach and local partnership activities.
