Job Description: Our client is seeking a Small Animal Associate Veterinarian to join an established, multi-doctor clinical team delivering comprehensive medical, surgical, dental and preventative care. The role provides exposure to a varied caseload alongside urgent care cases, with modern diagnostic capabilities and experienced clinical support available throughout the working day.
Veterinarians at all experience levels are encouraged to apply. A structured three-to-six-month mentorship pathway is available for newer graduates, while experienced clinicians can continue developing interests in advanced diagnostics, surgery and minimally invasive procedures. Flexible scheduling and efficient clinical support are provided to help doctors maintain high standards of patient care while managing their workload effectively.
In this position, your responsibilities will include:
- Assessing patients and developing appropriate diagnostic and treatment plans
- Interpreting laboratory results and diagnostic imaging to guide clinical decisions
- Providing preventative healthcare guidance and treatment recommendations to pet owners
- Carrying out surgical procedures and prescribing medications where clinically appropriate
- Maintaining accurate medical records and supporting compassionate end-of-life care
