Job Description: Our client is seeking a Small Animal Associate Veterinarian to join an established companion animal hospital providing comprehensive medical, preventive and diagnostic care for dogs and cats. The successful candidate will work within a collaborative clinical team and have access to a spacious, well-equipped facility featuring ultrasound and dental radiography. This role would suit a veterinarian who enjoys a broad general practice caseload, values strong client relationships and wants continued opportunities to develop their clinical skills.

Qualifications Needed:

  • DVM degree from an accredited university or equivalent qualification
  • Current Florida veterinary licence or eligibility to obtain one
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of veterinary medicine and professional ethics
  • Strong communication skills with a collaborative approach to patient care
  • Interest in continued learning and professional development

Responsibilities:

  • Manage consultations, diagnostics and treatment plans across a varied small animal caseload
  • Provide preventive, medical and routine surgical care for canine and feline patients
  • Build trusted relationships with clients through clear communication and education
  • Work closely with veterinary and support colleagues to coordinate patient care
  • Maintain accurate clinical records and consistently high professional standards
