Job Description: Our client is seeking an experienced Small Animal Associate Veterinarian to join a well-equipped clinical setting offering the opportunity to combine high-quality patient care with meaningful leadership responsibilities. Ideally bringing at least five years of experience, the successful veterinarian will manage a varied small animal caseload while helping mentor developing clinicians, maintain strong clinical standards, and contribute to the ongoing improvement of day-to-day veterinary procedures.
The position offers access to a dedicated dental suite, separate surgical facilities, and on-site ultrasound, supporting thorough diagnostic and treatment planning. A four-day working week or alternative scheduling arrangements may be available, while continuing education is actively encouraged through dedicated funding, workshops, conferences, and further professional training.
Qualifications Needed:
- Veterinary degree with appropriate registration to practise in Ontario
- At least five years of clinical veterinary experience preferred
- Confidence managing varied cases and adapting to developing veterinary techniques
- Ability to mentor less experienced clinicians and contribute to clinical leadership
- Strong client communication skills with a compassionate and collaborative approach
