Job Description: Our client is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join a well-established small animal hospital in Anderson, California. This opportunity offers the chance to work within a spacious, well-equipped facility alongside an experienced and supportive veterinary team delivering high standards of care.

You will be involved in a varied caseload including wellness care, surgery, and hospitalised patients, with access to modern diagnostic tools and multiple surgical suites. This role is ideal for a veterinarian looking for flexibility, strong clinical support, and opportunities to further develop their skills in a collaborative environment.

In this position, your responsibilities will include:

  • Perform routine consultations, diagnostics, and treatment planning for small animal patients
  • Deliver preventative healthcare and client education
  • Carry out surgical and dental procedures with confidence
  • Manage inpatient cases and monitor hospitalised animals
  • Work closely with veterinary nurses and support staff to ensure efficient workflow.

Qualifications Needed:

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent qualification
  • Eligible for veterinary licensure in California
  • Confidence in small animal medicine and surgery
  • Strong communication skills with both clients and colleagues
  • A team-focused and compassionate approach to patient care
