Job Description: Our client is seeking a Small Animal Associate Veterinarian to join a stable and experienced clinical team offering a varied general practice caseload. The position includes consultations, routine surgery and medical case management, supported by digital radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy and in-house pathology.
This opportunity is open to full-time, part-time and casual veterinarians and would suit a clinician who values collaboration, clinical variety and ongoing development. The successful candidate will work alongside a long-standing nursing and management team, with access to resources designed to reduce administrative burden and support efficient day-to-day practice.
In this position, your responsibilities will include:
- Manage consultations and routine small animal medical cases
- Perform general surgical procedures with appropriate clinical support
- Use diagnostic imaging and in-house testing to investigate and manage cases
- Maintain clear communication with clients throughout treatment planning
- Contribute positively to an experienced and collaborative clinical team
Qualifications Needed:
- Veterinary degree recognised in Australia
- Eligibility for veterinary registration in Queensland
- Confidence across general practice consultations and routine surgery
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Interest in continued clinical learning and development
