Job Description: Our client is seeking a Board-Certified or Residency-Trained Veterinary Ophthalmologist to join a growing emergency and specialty setting with the opportunity to help shape and expand a dedicated ophthalmology service. The position offers close collaboration with clinicians across emergency medicine, internal medicine, surgery, oncology, and critical care, supported by experienced technicians and a fully staffed 24/7 ICU.

The successful specialist will work within a recently expanded 36,000-square-foot facility equipped with digital radiography, ultrasound, CT, endoscopy, and a linear accelerator, with continued investment planned for ophthalmic diagnostic and surgical technology. This opportunity would suit a clinician who enjoys advanced referral medicine, multidisciplinary case management, and contributing to the development of a progressive specialty service.

Qualifications Needed:

  • Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Ophthalmologists or residency-trained and eligible for board certification
  • Eligible to obtain a Massachusetts veterinary licence
  • Strong ophthalmic diagnostic, medical, and surgical capabilities
  • Collaborative approach to specialty and emergency case management
