Job Description: Our client is seeking a board-certified or residency-trained Veterinary Ophthalmologist to establish and develop a new specialist ophthalmology service within a thriving emergency and multidisciplinary referral setting. Qualifications Needed:
- Diplomate status with the American College of Veterinary Ophthalmologists or completion of an approved ophthalmology residency with eligibility for board certification by 2027.
- Recognised veterinary qualifications and eligibility to obtain the appropriate licence to practise in Massachusetts.
- Advanced clinical expertise in diagnosing, treating and managing complex ophthalmic conditions in companion animals.
- Excellent communication skills and confidence in developing professional relationships with referring veterinarians and pet owners.
- Enthusiasm for establishing a new specialist service, supporting clinical education and contributing to multidisciplinary patient care.
